Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Riot+, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our platform.

Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily access the materials on Riot+'s platform for personal, non‑commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

Disclaimer

The materials on Riot+ are provided on an 'as is' basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim and negate all other warranties including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non‑infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

Limitations

In no event shall Riot+ or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Riot+, even if we or an authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

User Account and Conduct

When you create an account with us, you guarantee that:

Prohibited Uses: You may not use our platform for any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts. You must not violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances.

Content and Intellectual Property

All content on Riot+, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Riot+ or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.

Subscription and Billing

Some features of Riot+ require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:

Payment Processing

All monetary transactions for subscriptions, invoices, or one‑time purchases are processed by third‑party providers. We do not store any raw payment‑card data on our servers.

Stripe

We use Stripe to handle the actual movement of funds. When you submit a payment, Stripe receives the necessary card details (card number, expiration date, CVC, etc.) and returns a secure token that confirms the payment. Stripe stores the card data in compliance with PCI‑DSS standards. Our systems retain only the non‑financial information you provide (name, email, optional billing address) for account and invoicing purposes. For Stripe’s privacy practices see https://stripe.com/privacy.

Invoice Ninja (self‑hosted)

Invoices are generated and delivered via a self‑hosted installation of Invoice Ninja. The platform stores only the data you voluntarily supply when an invoice is created:

Invoice Ninja never receives raw card details. When you pay an invoice, the payment information is sent directly to Stripe; Invoice Ninja receives only a confirmation that the invoice has been paid. Because the instance is self‑hosted, you can review the exact data model in the open‑source code repository.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.

Data Deletion on Account Termination

Upon account termination, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will delete your account data as follows:

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for complete details on data retention and your data subject rights.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

Data Protection and Privacy Rights

Riot+ is committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy rights. These Terms of Service work in conjunction with our Privacy Policy, which provides detailed information about our data processing practices.

You have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR, including the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your personal data. For information on exercising these rights, please see our Privacy Policy Section 11 and contact our Data Protection Officer.
